Data controller
The controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website is Dennis Hertfelder. For any privacy-related question, or to exercise your rights, you can write to: [enable JavaScript to see the address].
What data we collect
- Contact-form data: when you send an inquiry about a domain we collect your name, your email address and, optionally, your offer amount and any message you leave.
- Visit measurement: we record basic browsing data such as the visit date, the domain visited and the referring page. We do not store your IP address for this purpose.
- Cookies and local storage: we use only strictly necessary and functional first-party cookies (language, form security, and remembering that you accepted the cookie notice). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Purpose and legal basis
- To handle and manage your inquiry or offer about a domain (legal basis: your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request).
- To measure interest in the domains in order to manage their sale (legal basis: our legitimate interest; this data does not identify you personally).
- To remember your preferences, such as language (legal basis: your consent and the basic operation of the site).
Data retention
We keep your inquiry data while we deal with it and for a maximum further period of 12 months, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention or the inquiry leads to a contractual relationship. After that period the data is deleted. Visit-measurement data, as it does not identify you, is retained in aggregate form.
Recipients
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your data may be processed by our service providers (data processors) solely to deliver the service — specifically our web hosting provider and our email provider, which receive the data needed to store your inquiry and deliver it to us.
International transfers
Your data is hosted on our provider's servers. Should a transfer outside the European Economic Area ever be necessary, it would be carried out with the appropriate safeguards required by data-protection law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to and request the restriction of its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent given. You can exercise these rights by writing to the address above. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
Cookies
This site uses only necessary and functional first-party cookies: one to remember your language, one security cookie to protect forms against fraudulent submissions, and local storage to remember that you accepted this notice. The admin area additionally uses a session cookie for the owner's login. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, although some features may stop working.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. We will post any changes on this page, indicating the date of the latest update.
